Valentine

This is the second project we made at technique night this month.  It uses the new impressions folder in the Occasions Mini.  I've used a scrap of CS to create the back of the Top Note, layed a sheet of adhesive over it, layered on the DSP, and then cut it out using the Big Shot.  Makes this project very easy :)  Order your supplies here.

Love

When I started stamping again, I knew I wanted to start working on Valentine's Day cards but realized I haven't ordered any Valentine DSP yet.  I happened to look in the Play Date DSP package and found this CUTE heart paper!  Perfect!!!!  This greeting is first stamped in Pretty in Pink ink and then stamped in the Real Red ink.  I smoothed the line in between the two inks with a sponge.  I love the effect of the two-toned stamping :)  Order your supplies here.

Cheerful Thank You

One of my favorite stamp sets from the Occasions Mini has been "With all my Heart." I've found so many different uses for this stamp set :) This idea came from the IB&C. It's a card sketch that was used with the "Tart and Tangy" stamp set. I realized I could use many different stamp sets for this same effect but decided to use "With all my Heart" one more time before you can't order it anymore, and the stamp becomes part of my personal stamp collection. The key to this card is to stamp twice and then punch each one out with a different circle punch....I used a 1" and a 3/4" circles. Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow (yes, all leaving the end of June), Whisper White
Ink: Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow

Bird House

This is our second project from technique night. These bird houses are so cute. They are made from the mini milk carton die. Of course, they also use the bird punch that I said I wouldn't own...ha, ha, ha! Love it when I find a use for something I've told myself I don't need. This is one of my favorite projects currently. We'll be making a double-decker birdhouse at stamp camp next weekend :)
