1st Christmas Ornament

One of the things on a wish list we were given this year included a personalized ornament. Since the couple was married this summer, I thought it would be appropriate to stamp the happy couple with their wedding date. Order your supplies here.

Stamped Ornament

This ornament is created by cutting a circle from a piece of acetate using the coluzzle. It's important to be sure to add a "tab" to the top when you're cutting your circle so the circle won't move inside the ornament. Stamp in staz-on on the acetate and color on the backside of the image using sharpie markers. Add "snow" to the ornament and insert your acetate sheet by rolling it up. A fun way to personalize your ornaments.

Paper Candy Ornament

Do you remember the hard-tack ribbon candy you had has a kid? Here's the candy re-created with designer paper, pretties kit beads, and cord. Accordian fold a piece of designer paper measuring 12" x 1". Be careful not to make actual folds. Punch through the center of the paper using the crop-a-dile. Add a bit of sticky strip to each end to hold over the first piece. Begin threading the cord through the beads and the paper. My kids are begging to make this ornament. Bet you can't guess what we'll be doing during Christmas break?! :)

Scallop Circle Ornament

Have a scallop circle punch? Then you can make this ornament. Punch 4 scallops from designer series paper. Fold them in half. Adhere backsides together. Insert cording before you glue the last scallop on. Ta-da...you have a beautiful ornament!

Paper Ornament

This ornament was easy to make with the Coluzzle. You use the largest circle and the Round Tab punch. It's super cute and fun. I embossed it with the Baroque Motifs stamp set. I made this exact ornament as a gift card holder for our preschool teacher. (of course, I forgot to take a picture of it though). It even included papers inside for the parents to sign. I just added a half circle to the backside of the ornament to hold the gift card...the perfect holiday gift card holder!

Scrappy Ornament AND Retiring Stamps!

This was a fun ornament to make. It's filled with scraps of designer paper that have been cut and crimped. Then a rub-on was added to the top. So simple and so cute! :)

Sparkly Ornament

Christmas Decorating Time!

The past few days we've gotten into the festive mood at our house getting all the Christmas decorations set up. It must have started with all the ornaments I've made this week for Friday night's stamp camp. This ornament/treat box came from Samantha's FABULOUS santa. Isn't he cute?!?!?
