Happy Birthday!

I wanted to use the same DSP that I used on the card yesterday but use it for a non-Halloween card.  I always need multiple uses besides a specific holiday for DSP.  I was still using the spritzers also.  Here's the card I came up with.
I spritzed the Very Vanilla CS just a bit with the Tangerine Tango reinker mixed with rubbing alcohol just to add a bit of color.  I stamped the greeting in Basic Black, filled in the bubble letters with the Tangerine Tango marker, and added Crystal Effects to the tops of the letters.  I also added Crystal Effects to the Tangerine Tango stripe on the DSP.  Quick and simple!  Order your supplies here.

Pink Thank You

This is also a swap card from our demo meeting.  I love the pink shades this demo used on her card.  So clean and crisp!  The centers of the flowers are raised.  I would assume she added crystal effects with glitter.  Perfect addition to this card!  I love the "out of the box" idea for the center flowers...they are a square stamp (For All You Do stamp set) and to punch them out w/ a circle is PERFECT!!!

Super Alan!

Our friend, Alan, had a birthday party over the weekend. He's very into super heros so I figured he needed an "A" card...like Superman always has a "S." I ran a piece of raw chipboard through the Big Shot with the Serif Alphabet to get my "A." Then I mixed crystal effects and a few drops of Basic Black ink, painted it on the chipboard, and then topped it off with glitter. It turned out well...so glad this technique works on chipboard, too! I see myself using this technique a lot! Hope you had a great day, Alan!
