I can't use the Top Note enough! Here's a different way to use it. Cut it in the center and line up the edges on the cardstock. Gives the top note cut out a different image. The Cutter Kit was used to rough up the edges on the focal image. Get yours before they are gone! The cutter kit is on the retiring accessories list!!!! Order your supplies here.

Baby Shower Invite

Last week I got to make invitations for a baby shower that's coming up for my friend, Kim. I used the card sketch from yesterday to create these invites. It's actually a pocket card and the shower details are on the cut out top note. They turned out really cute. Order your supplies here.

Thank You
Sorry, friends, I've been busy with life lately. I've been stamping...I just haven't had time to post them to the blog. I'm hoping to get caught up and stay caught up for a bit :)

We created this card at May's technique night. This card was created using the new "Strength & Hope" stamp set in the Summer Mini. I wanted to use this set to just make a regular card (even though I chose to use pink as my color palette for this card). This really is a versatile set. I'll show you another card I created with this same design tomorrow :) Order your supplies here.

Birthday Wishes
This idea came from the front cover of the catalog. I love how this card came together. We used a retired package of Designer Series Paper...I believe it was the Sweet Pea DSP. I can definitely see using this card sketch for a lot of cards. How fun would this be for a Christmas card or any other holiday? It would be a GREAT way to use up some DSP scraps that I of course have laying around! Order your supplies here.

Baby Card....Step-up
This card is a bit of a step-up from the one I made earlier this month. The best part about the stamped background is that I put all of the stamps on one clear block and then stamped the background using Versamark. It makes this type of background very easy and quick when you can put them all on one block!

Baby
Over the weekend, I attended a baby shower. The gender of the baby is unknown so it was a little bit different for me to make a gender neutral card...but also very fun :) We didn't know for sure whether J.R. was a boy or a girl before we had him so it was fun to reminisce those memories. I used the same technique I used on the previous top note card with the DSP strips with the adhesive sheet. This time I just got DSP that measured 2" x 2 1/2" and layed them on a piece of CS that measured 4" x 5" with an adhesive sheet overtop. After running the DSP cardstock sheet through the Big Shot, I trimmed the edge of the Top Note and layered it on a Whisper White Top Note to make the lettering pop. Order your supplies here.
