Fall Harvest

One of my favorite techinques is with the versamark ink and the pastels.  On this card, I did the Poppin' Pastels technique using a wheel.  I inked an uninked cartridge with a versamark refill and wheeled a wheel on the cardstock.  The pastels are sponged on top of the ink using sponge daubers.

Halloween Bag

This is another size of our fabulous cello bags.  These are 3"x5" bag.  To add something to the bag, I rolled this wheel on the white staz-on pad and then wheeled it on the bag.  You have to do it carefully so it doesn't smear.  It's so fun to add a little something extra!  The topper is cut out with the Big Shot using the Top Note die and then embossed with the spider web embossing folder and spritzed with the Shimmer Paint Mist (shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alchol and spritzed).  It's so sparkley!!!

I needed a break from the kitchen project today and I really wanted to watercolor so I made this fun card. I wheeled the Neighborhood Wheel in Basic Brown ink on Confetti White CS and watercolored with the AquaPainter and classic inks. The middle house is cut out and popped up with dimensionals. :) I know just the person to send this card to!

Life has been super busy this past weekend so I have not stamped anything new lately...for the next few months this will probably be the case. We finally ordered our cabinets for our kitchen so we'll be in remodel mode for the next few months. I'll post when I get a chance. Happy Stampin'!

Magic Wheel--Technique Tuesday

Friday night club members made this fun project with the Texturz plates on the background of the card. We used the "magic" technique on the wheeled flower image. Wheel wheel on Glossy White CS in versamark ink. Pour white embossing powder over image. Heat. Cool. Get a drop of rubbing alcohol on cotton ball. Place two drops of each color of ink on alcohol on cotton ball. Dab cotton ball on glossy cs. After all color has been added, heat with heat tool again. Perfect Fit Card

Sometimes it's hard to create a card just using a wheel. This last weekend I helped more with the index cards for SCS. I have three wheels they were missing indexes for so I did them. My favorite one was the "Perfect Fit" wheel. I think this is the first time I've even used this wheel. I LOVE how this card turned out!! I'll add a greeting when I decide who to send it to and for what occasion. :)
