Baby Shower Invite

A couple weeks ago, some friends and I decided to give a baby shower and a farewell luncheon for a friend who was moving in a very short amount of time.  There wasn't time to actually mail out invitations so created this simple invite and attached it to an e-mail to all the shower guests.
This is one stamp set that I always wished I had gotten when it was available so I was SO happy when it became available as a digital image!  It was the perfect addition to this baby invitation for a stylin' momma!  I know I'll definitely be using this idea again :)

Birthday Invite

Sydney has decided that she wants a Barbie themed birthday party for her first ever friend birthday party celebrating her fifth birthday.  At first, I really tried to talk her out of it.  The more I thought about it (and "researched" on pinterest, I knew I could probably pull it off.  I was inspired by this invitation and set to work using My Digital Studio to create her Barbie invite.
It totally fits her....a little wild but plenty of girly.  I had the perfect photo from our Christmas card photo shoot we did with the Nasfells.  I just changed the color and cropped it as a punch to fit inside the frame I made using punches.  Order your supplies here.

Invitation

At the first of the month, a friend contacted me and asked if I could help her with some invitations for a work event coming up. You're looking at the finished project. The invitation is a half of a page so the pocket is a full sheet of CS, scored in half, cut down to the score line, and then embossed. They turned out very nice and look so professional! Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Brushed Silver
Ink: Night of Navy Craft
Stamps: Lovely Letters
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Impressions Folder, Dimensionals, Clear Embossing Powder, 1 3/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches

Simple Belly Band Announcement

We needed to create a VERY simple announcement so this is the one we came up with. You could create this one with or without the belly band but we found it gave the announcement just that little extra touch! The belly band could actually be used on most of the announcements we made so it was a fun, last minute thing to add to their options. The announcement would be printed on the White card. You could go deeper in with the stamping if the writing didn't fill-up the space. Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black
Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Lovely Letters
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, Dimensionals

Pocket Card Annoucement

This announcement brought back memories of Syndey's birth announcement. I used the pocket card layout for her announcement 3 years ago. I love how the colors all work so well together. We did used retired DSP when we first made this card but ended up switching it out with a patterned paper we made ourselves using the Hearts O' Plenty wheel. The announcement would be printed on the white paper inside the pocket. That piece comes out of the pocket to read all of the announcement. This is one of my favorites we designed. It would take more work than most of them but oh so cute! Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Night & Day DSP (retired)
Accessories: Heart-to-Heart Punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon

Striped Announcement

My friend wanted to use the Bridal Speciality Paper for at least one of the announcements since you could make it any color you needed! The announcement would be printed on the vellum overlay before the card is assembled. Both the Bridal Paper and the Gingham Ribbon on this card are retiring...get them before they're gone! Wedding Announcements

One of the projects that I helped with at my Wednesday WOW was to create some wedding announcements for one of my friends' nephew who will be getting married at the end of summer. The wedding colors are Red, Black, and White. We had a great time creating these announcements together. It really reminded me how fun and personalized stamping can be! Any of these announcements could be used for any variety of things...weddings, babies, graduations, or just as an invite. Most of them could be changed to any color you choose. For the next few days, I'll be sharing with you our creations...and hopefully get those ideas a turnin' for your next big event! This card is a tri-fold card so the announcement is on the insdie of this card. Order your supplies here.
