Frankie Purse

I saw some ideas a few weeks ago of Halloween purses from this fun die.  I couldn't wait to create a few.  Here's the first one I came up with!

Isn't Frankie cute?!?!  So simple to create...just cut out the purse body in Old Olive and the purse flap in Elegant Eggplant.  I couldn't help but add the Googlie Eyes :)  I attached the handle with the silver brads.  Such a fun and easy treat holder!  Order your supplies here.

Are you ready for Halloween? My kids are already talking about how they would like to dress up.  The past couple years we've done a family theme.  This year there's a bit of a debate if we could pull off a family theme and make everyone happy.  It's got me thinking about Halloween.  I wanted to use our new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark stampin' pad since that will be the focus of our technique night next Thursday. I came up with this fun Halloween card.  I'm loving this adorable Halloween stamp set in the Holiday Mini...Googly Ghouls.  

The stamping on the Basic Black CS is done with the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.  In case you missed, it's on p. 23.  I completely missed it until I went to convention and saw it in the Product display area.  That was the first thing I ordered after I came home from Convention :)  Hope you can join me on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. to create this fun card and play with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad!  Order your supplies here.

Eeek!

When I first got the new catalog, Tricky Treats was one of the first new stamp sets on my list!  So cute!  I used the Stampin' Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and Tangerine Tango reinker to spritz the back of the card as well as the tags.  I also spritzed white Baker's Twine to make a perfect match :)

Can't forget those adorable Googly Eyes from the Holiday Mini!  I see lots of googly eyed projects for Halloween in my very near future.  Tonight's projects...complete the projects that I have dancing in my head for next weekend's stamp class featuring the stamp set Embellished Events.  Have a great day!  Order your supplies here.
