I love using the Sticky Strip sheets with the glitter. This was my first attempt at using the corner heart punch. Takes a bit of practice but not too hard too use :)

Heart Flower Bouquet

Butterfly Top Note Purse

This is a fun little treat holder using the Top Note Die. Sandwich for Big Shot: Standard Cutting Pad, Top Note Die, 2 sheets of Pretty in Pink CS, Standard Cutting Pad. Punch a oval in one of the top note, layer over top, and punch other top note so they match. Ink butterfly in Pretty in Pink, ink background stamp in Pink Passion, and stamp on butterfly stamp. Stamp butterfly on Pretty in Pink top note. Repeat stamping on scrap Pretty in Pink CS, punch out butterfly using Butterfly punch, and attach to stamped Butterfly using a rolled-up mini glue dot. Stamp greeting in Pink Passion. Inside of box: 4” x 5 ½”…score all sides at 1”. Cut 4 slits on the lines and adhere box using sticky strip. Attach a piece of sticky strip to each side and attach top notes. Tie handles with ribbon.

Heart to Heart Card

For Technique Night last night, I taught the "kissing" technique. Can't help but think about kissing during the month of February. To do this stamping technique, ink the heart in Pretty in Pink, ink hearts background in Real Red ink, and stamp together (ink background and stamp multiple times on stamp). Stamp heart on Whisper White CS. Repeat being sure to turn heart each time you stamp down.

Heart Snow Globe

One of my favorite things at Christmas is snow globes. I started seeing ideas with the circle treat cups. I never got a chance to try it out with those...so I tried it out with the heart treat cups! OH!!!! So much fun! Here's how I did it :) Fold Very Vanilla CS in half. Attach piece of Sending Love DSP on card front. Cut Heart Shape from Sticky Strip Sheet using Big Shot. (Extended cutting pad, Movers & Shapers Die w/ Heart Shape in place, Sticky Strip Sheet over Heart, Extended cutting pad) Pull off one side of the backing and insert Heart Treat Cup. Pour in a dab of glitter (Red Chunky & Dazzling Diamonds). Pull off sticky edge of heart cup. Fill cup w/ about 1 ½ tsp of water. Place window sheet over Heart Treat cup. Stamp large heart on Very Vanilla CS. Sponge edges of with Real Red ink. Punch out center using Heart Punch. Stamp 3 small hearts on punch out and attach to card front. Attach Window Sheet/Treat Cup over heart. Remove backing on Sticky Strip Sheet and place Very Vanilla piece on card front. Stamp greeting in Real Red ink on Very Vanilla CS. Punch out using Scallop Oval Punch. Sponge edges. Cut ribbon and attach behind oval. Attach to card front using dimensionals.

I {Heart} You

I love February! It's so fun to see all the hearts around. I'm LOVING these new treat cups. They are PERFECT for the chocolate hearts that Nestle makes...my favorite are the Butterfinger flavor but they also come in the Nestle Crunch flavor. We made this fun card at stamp camp in January. We'll be using the treat cup with this yummy heart in it on Thursday night at technique night. Hope you can join us.
