Technique Night

Quick Box

I made this quick little box using the Petal Card Punch.  Punch out four petal cards, apply sticky strip, and you have a quick box!

Yes, it's very tiny but oh, so cute!  I added DSP to add some more color!  Can you believe we are less than a week away from Halloween!?!?!?  So crazy!  This year has gone by so quickly!

Frankie Purse

I saw some ideas a few weeks ago of Halloween purses from this fun die.  I couldn't wait to create a few.  Here's the first one I came up with!

Isn't Frankie cute?!?!  So simple to create...just cut out the purse body in Old Olive and the purse flap in Elegant Eggplant.  I couldn't help but add the Googlie Eyes :)  I attached the handle with the silver brads.  Such a fun and easy treat holder!  Order your supplies here.

Sucker Pumpkin

Today we're off to the Pumpkin Patch so I knew which project I wanted to share today!

Isn't this pumpkin fun?  I just cut a strip of CS about 2" x 8 1/2" and scored it at every 2", punched a hole for the tootsie pop stick to come through, inserted the sucker, and sealed it up with Sticky Strip.  I added a pumpkin on front and on back (3 Extra-Lg. Ovals) and added a face.  Stamped the greeting on Gumball Green CS with the illuminate glimmer stamp pad, punched out with the word window punch, punched out a hole for the tag to fit on the stick, slide it on, and tied it up with ribbon!  Order your supplies here.

Lego Truck

This cute Lego filled truck is for an adorable 3 year old that can't get enough of Legos :)

I know the truck is retired but the legos just didn't look right in the car so I had to pull out the truck (plus you know I LOVE this truck!).  Have you used the top of the cupcake for a cloud yet?  I knew this would be the prefect card to use it on!  Order your supplies here.

Spooky

It's always fun to use a mask to create a scene.  This card uses a mask and a reverse mask of a circle.  Glossy White Cardstock is the best paper to use when you're sponging on ink.  The trees and bats are stamped with staz-on. The original idea from this card started when I saw Julie Day's card on Pinterest.  Order your supplies here.

Button Rainbow

I saw an awesome card on Pinterest made by CourageHopeStrength .  I needed a quick birthday card for a birthday party this weekend so this is what I came up with.

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White

Ink:  Basic Black

Accessories:  Buttons (all color families), Dimensionals, Baker's Twine, Cupcake Punch

Next time I might not have 11 buttons that are all the same style so I thought why not recreate this card in MDS?! :)
