I love when you can use stamps in a different way.  Of course, the Sweetly Framed hostess stamp set is made to have the words and the images work inside the label.  I decided to do a little bit of an out of the box idea with this label after seeing some inspiration with other label type images.

Last week my son went to celebrate a friend's birthday.  I really didn't have a card in my stash that would fit my son's friend so I quickly looked up some angry bird ideas on pinterest.  Here's my version after looking at several cards for inspiration:

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday we celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary.  It certainly doesn't seem liked it's already been that long...and other days I can't believe it's only been 14 years (I mean that in a good way...it seems like we've always been together :)  Here's the very simple card I made my hubby.  Besides...he cares most what it says inside :)

Hi, Stampers!

School starts soon so we’ve been cramming every last bit out of summer as we can!  I started off the month with a Washi Tape class that was a blast.  I couldn’t stop creating projects with washi tape.  J  It’s so fun and so easy to use.  I definitely see myself using it on a lot of projects.  Five of the fifteen cards that will be at stamp camp on August 16 with be cards created with washi tape.  Here’s the details on the class:

Summer is creeping to an end very, very soon.  As I was looking through my pictures, I found this cute gift we gave to our health clerk at the end of the school year.  We filled it will all kinds of office treats she uses.  I'm thinking of doing something similar for our new teachers when my kids go back to school in just over a week.

Last night we went to a friend's 90th birthday party.  I made him a nice card, scanned it, sealed it up, and gave it to him.  I went to post the card this morning...and no card actually scanned.  Bummer!  It was very similar to this card that we're creating tonight at technique night.
