Look What I GOT BACK!!!!!

My first digital album!!!!! I'm so incredibly pleased with how it turned out. I see myself using "My Digital Studio" for many albums in the future. I'll mainly use them for trips and vacations because I still want to scrap every day events how I have been doing them. The size of this album is 8x8. Here are some of the BIGGEST reasons I love this digital album. 1. EVERYTHING coordinates in this album. 2. I could add as many pictures from our vacation as I wanted. 3. I LOVE the option of photo boxes so that I can resize my picture to the PERFECT size. On the page on the right at the bottom, you'll notice there's a picture of an awesome rock formation...yes, that is my picture! I just added a photo box the size that I wanted, and MDS filled in the picture to match the size of photo box I wanted without pixelating my picture, etc. This is probably my VERY favorite option with using "My Digital Studio."

I can't wait to show you the whole book in person...stop by so you can see it for yourself. You're going to LOVE it! Can't wait to see what you create with "My Digital Studio." My next project with MDS will be a 12x12 calendar for 2010 from our cruise we're going on soon! Can't wait to perfectly match the colors that are in my photos. EVERYONE can order My Digital Studio on October 1. Contact me today so you'll be one of the first to receive your very own copy of My Digital Studio.

Order your copy of My Digital Studio on Oct. 1 here or contact me through e-mail.

Sparkly Melon Mambo Cupcakes!

I've been having so much fun with the shimmer paints this week. On this card, I mixed two drops of Champagne Mist shimmer paint with one drop of reinker. (I just mixed them in a lid of an eyelet container.) I stamped the cupcakes in Basic Brown and then added the sparkly ink to the cupcakes with an aquapainter. Love the sparkle without the mess glitter can leave. I love the little extra shimmer this adds.

Treat Pouch

I needed a treat pouch really quick so I whipped up this treat holder from a strip of DSP measuring 12" x 3". I scored it at 1 1/2" and 6". Create

I recently also bought the "create" definition decor element. I was disappointed when I got it because it didn't fit where I wanted it to so it sat on my desk for a few days. Then I had an idea...since it all had to be trimmed apart I could create my own spacing for the words. As I was cutting off the first part, I realized I didn't have to lay it out the way it was printed either...so it's perfect to run along the top of the back splash. That's what I love about the Decor Elements...so versatile!

Decor Elements

I'm slowing getting the house put back together...re-decorated. This wall is in our kitchen. I had all the pictures hung up, and it seemed to be missing something. So...I ordered the Flourishes from the Decor Elements catalog...

It looks AWESOME!!! It totally completes the wall. :) I've now ordered decor elements for our bedroom...can't wait to get it all finished. Order Decor Elements for your home here.

Punch Frogs

As I've mentioned before that as a demo, I receive a monthly magazine called Stampin' Success. It always has so many projects that I want to give a try. These cute frogs were featured in our September issue...as well as some other fun punch art that you'll probably see in the future. When Candi was over, we each made a version of the frog. She made hers just like the pic. I wanted to try one using the treat cups. They both turned out ADORABLE!!!! They take quite a bit of punching, cutting, and pasting but you get a super, cute frog int he end!

Super Alan!

Our friend, Alan, had a birthday party over the weekend. He's very into super heros so I figured he needed an "A" card...like Superman always has a "S." I ran a piece of raw chipboard through the Big Shot with the Serif Alphabet to get my "A." Then I mixed crystal effects and a few drops of Basic Black ink, painted it on the chipboard, and then topped it off with glitter. It turned out well...so glad this technique works on chipboard, too! I see myself using this technique a lot! Hope you had a great day, Alan!

IT'S HERE!

My Digital Studio arrived TODAY! :) After I moved some files around on my computer, I was able to load the program and made this quick card. I made this one from a template...just changed the greeting stamp and one of the background colors! WOW!!! I'm going to go play some more! As a demo I was able to order the program September 1. As a customer you can order it beginning Oct. 1.

Happy Birthday Glitter Flower

As I sat down to make my sister's birthday card, I knew I had to do a simple card. My sister is always telling me that she likes simple...so I tried to keep it simple. So I punched the eyelet border punch and then had to punch it on another layer, and then had to add the ribbon. I was going to stop there after I added the greeting but then I remembered this really cool technique I learned from the Technique DVD sold at Memento Mall. I had to give the flower a try...so I created a flower using crystal effects, a reinker, and glitter. Wow!!!! What fun!!! :) You can learn this fun technique at stamp camp this month. Sorry, Amber, that the card wasn't quite as simple as you would prefer but enjoy your day :)

Cardstock: Soft Suede, Whisper White
Stamps: Happy Everything
Ink: Soft Suede pad & reinker

Sparkling Butterfly

This card is off to our sweet, little friend, Kiyah, who just turned 8 years old! What an exciting age for this little lady. We're so proud of her :) For this simple card, I just punched the butterfly out twice and layered the two colors. I stamped in Pretty in Pink craft ink on top of the Melon Mambo Butterfly, sprinkled on Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder, and heated it up to add some sparkle! The greeting is also stamped in craft ink and embossed. EASY (and clean) way to add some sparkle to the card. :)

If I had attended Convention, I could have walked across the stage for this honor. My FREE stamp set is in the mail, too. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! Here's to 20K MORE :)

Praying for You...

Shadowing is a GREAT technique to use on so many of the nature stamps SU! carries. I found this sympathy card pulled together quickly...with a quick circle punch template used for the sun/moon, sponging on the background color, and then stamping the focal image. What stamps do you have that work using the shadowing technique?

Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Bordering Blue, Basic Black, More Mustard
