The Open Sea Birthday

I know, I know...I said I was going to move past the Triple Time Stamping technique.  I was looking at Pinterest the other day and came across this beautiful card by Paula Tharp.  I had to create a similar card for next week's stamp-a-stack class.
I love the masculine feel to this card.  It's awesome.  Don't forget to register today for next week's class!  Tonight you'll be able to preview ALL 15 cards at Technique Night.  Order your supplies here.

Sailing Away

I can't use the Top Note enough!  Here's a different way to use it.  Cut it in the center and line up the edges on the cardstock.  Gives the top note cut out a different image.  The Cutter Kit was used to rough up the edges on the focal image.  Get yours before they are gone!  The cutter kit is on the retiring accessories list!!!!  Order your supplies here.

The Open Sea

Another card I designed for my friend's husband.  I used one of my favorite tools on the left side flap that's holding the ship image...the paper piercer and the mat pack.  Have you noticed that both of these items are on the retiring list?!?!?!  The paper piercer is being re-configured, but the mat pack will be gone.  Don't miss out on this AWESOME tool! Order your supplies here.

Digital Ship

One thing I love about MDS is being able to resize an image, print it, watercolor it, and add it to a card.  I did just that with this card!  So fun!  What image would you love to resize, print, watercolor, and use?  Order your supplies here.

Open Sea Birthday

My friend asked me to make some birthday cards for her husband from her girls.  I used the Twitterpated DSP to create the color palette for this card.  It was fun to use the circles to add more dimension to this card.  Order your supplies here.

Open Sea

The Summer Mini can't end without one more post using the Open Sea stamp set. These are two more AMAZING swaps I received at Convention. I love all the fantastic detail on this card. It's beautifully embossed and the sponging in the background is fantastic.

Now this next card might be my favorite swap that I received at Convention. One thing I love is that even after some of the stamp set and accessories aren't available any more, they are still available in a digital image. This card is created using My Digital Studio. The ship image is enlarged and then printed off on watercolor paper. It's colored in using the aquapainter and reinkers.

The Open Sea

I'll admit...it took a bit for the Summer Mini to grow on me. I was in a desperate need for some new masculine style stamps so...those were first on my list. I'm LOVING "The Open Sea" stamp set. I'm really enjoying creating with it. I created this card this week for our demo group meeting. This was my swap. Can't wait to keep playing with this stamp set to see what other possibilities are out there!!!
