Thanks So Much Flowers

After I got home from Convention, I had several quick thank you cards I needed to make. So I used one of my FREE stamp sets from convention (because I learned at Convention that FREE stamps stamp better...definitely true :). I also wanted to use the new In Color Calypso Coral. I decided to pair it with Daffodil Delight. I feel it really brought out the orangish hue of this color...but I liked it that way :) It will be fun to keep using and see what hue shows up the most.

Cupcake Birthday

Party Hearty has definitely been a favorite stamp set of mine. I've used it for MANY birthday cards. What I like about it most is that it's versatile for men, women, and children. At this month's stamp camp, we made the same card sketch in both blue & pink. I love cards like this where you just change one color, and you have a whole new card!

Last day to order from this catalog is Thursday. Order your supplies here.

With Love & Caring

My mom called over the weekend to let me know that my uncle's mother-in-law passed away.  I knew that I wanted to send a special sympathy card so I checked out this weekend's sketch here before I sat down to create the card.  I used the "Thanks for Caring" stamp set in the Occasions Mini to create this card.  I love how the butterflies turned out usin the pearl jewels. Order your supplies here.

Happy Mother's Day

This is my swap card for tonight's demo meeting.  I really wanted to use a technique that I haven't used in awhile so I decided to emboss the flower in black embossing powder and then bleach out parts of the flower with bleach on a q-tip.  Such an easy technique that adds just the perfect touch.  I also used the glittery smooch accent ink over top (which you can't really see in this picture).  What are you going to be making for Mother's Day?  Start planning your project today!  Order your supplies here.

Sparkly Sprinkles Cupcake

I already had this letterpressed background sitting on my desk from showing a friend how the letterpress plates worked so I had to use it on this girly birthday card :)  I'm so glad I got the "Create a Cupcake" stamp set to match the "Build a Cupcake" punch.  SO much fun to use the two together.  This card was for a special little lady so I had to add some sparkle to it...LOVE the smooch accent inks!  They definitely make adding just a little bit of sparkle SO simple.  Order your supplies here.

Pink Pirouette

I think this is my favorite pink right now. I created the candy wrapper with the new die from the Holiday Mini. The picture turned out terribly but it gives you an idea of how adorable the die actually is. It's perfect for just a little treat. After cutting out the candy wrapper, I ran it through the Big Shot AGAIN in the polka dot impressions folder...love the effect!!

Birthday Again

I told you I needed a bunch of birthday cards in a hurry! The Pink Pirouette was still laying on my desk so I snagged it up with a scrap of Rich Razzleberry. I love the new Pattern Packs of DSP in the family colors. It makes color matching a cinch! I wanted to add a little sparkle to the DSP on this card so I dotted every other dot in every other line with the Pearlized Accent Ink...just enough extra glitter :) Order your supplies here.
