I made this pillow box from the Urban Oasis Designer Series Paper. I punched out a scallop oval and attached a window sheet to the inside. I then stamped the greeting in Kiwi Kiss on Whisper White CS and attached it to the inside using dimensionals. It made a fun pillow box and was a hit at the workshop I demo'd it at.
These two colors were laying together on my table and I thought they were perfect for this summer birthday card! I inked the flowers in Summer Sun ink and then daubed on Pumpkin Pie ink. I love the summery feel of this card. This was the second card for last weekend's workshop.
This card layout came from this month's PaperCrafts magazine. I chose to use the Fleurettes and the Button Bouquet buttons and some retiring DSP. I really like how this card turned out! It's a great way to use some "leftovers."
This card was made using the extra vinyl temples my friend cut out for us for a craft for a primary church activity where we made these. Not sure why the scan of the card makes the vinyl look black when it's actually dark brown...but you get the idea. These were fun to use...I can see myself using vinyl cut with my Big Shot on more projects :)
Another card I made Tuesday night. I really love the "Ginger Blossom" DSP...too bad it's retired. All of the card bases were white so that was the starting point of this card. It was fun to just add a bit by adding DSP and another strip of DSP w/ the greeting stamped on it.
I made this quick card on Tuesday night. I haven't used the tearing technique for awhile so it was fun to use again. I've seen hair bows made with ribbon like this so I thought it might be fun to try as an accent on a card. Not to shabby! :)
Tuesday we had a "card making party" with the women in our church. I'll be posting the cards I made that night the next few days. I really liked the fun layout of this card. The top corner of Designer Series Paper is folded over to reveil the backside of the paper as well as a a little pocket. I thought it would be the perfect spot for a tag or a gift card. The papers I used are retired DSP from SU! :) I'll definitely be doing this layout on a card or two in the future.
Just a quick card birthday card I made for a friend of ours. Stamp the trees in Creamy Caramel. Lay stamp on table face-up and tap multiple marker tips on stamp. Huff and stamp down. Easy way to create "fall" trees :) Card Recipe: CS: Kraft, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip; Stamps: Family Phrases, Lovely as a Tree; Ink: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, and various Earth Element markers; Accessories: Crimper, 1/16" punch, Silver Brads
