We’ll celebrate the retiring sets in May with two classes.  May 3 at 7 p.m. is Technique Night.  We will be using the Diagonal Plate that goes with the Simply Scored Tool.  We will be completing 2 projects that night which will also featured stamp sets that are retiring.  Cost:  Stamp Club Members—FREE; Customers/Guests—$7 ( FREE for those who place a $40 order on the night of the class).

Bridal Shower

Friday we ended up going to UT for two days for funeral services for Dave's Great Aunt.   It was a very quick trip but a needed trip :)  Saturday my mom hosted a surprise bridal shower for my youngest sister who is getting married in June.  I couldn't make it so I wanted to at least be a part of it.  So I created these to send to my mom for the party fun.  Twenty five little purses....

 and a love banner.

Using MDS to create a card you can duplicate

Yeah...I know...long title...but I didn't know what else to say.  I love creating projects in MDS first so I know what I'm going to actually create once I sit down with my real supplies.  I created this project first in MDS.  For this month's MDS class, I created this card using the Summer Smooches DSP and brads.

Love Birds

When I first saw this bird card, I knew I had to re-create it.  I embossed the bottom part of the card under the ribbon.  I love the bird peeking through the hole in the front of the card. I want to try this card with the owl punch, too :)

Flower Table Settings

For Easter dinner, I needed a quick decoration for our table.  I pulled out the Big Shot, the Flower Folds Die, and the Summer Smooches DSP!  I quickly made these for each table setting:

Petite Purse

Butterfly Banner

One of our friends was celebrating her 8th birthday over the weekend.  Her mom asked if I could make a butterfly banner for the garden themed party.  I knew just what to use for this fun banner!  I used  the Beautiful Butterflies Die.  After I cut out all the butterflies, I knew that I wanted to added some more dimension to the butterflies so I used 5 different embossing folders to make the butterflies POP!

***My Digital Studio Technique Night, Thursday, April 5, at 7 p.m.  We’ll be creating with My Digital Studio.  There will be a demonstration and if time allows, we’ll have some time to try the product hands-on.  We’ll create two projects that are hybrid using My Digital Studio.  This class is FREE for all customers and guests.  If you have your own copy of My Digital Studio installed on your laptop, bring it along to follow along during the demonstration.  Please be sure to check for the latest update for MDS before you come.  Please RSVP no later than April 3 so I know how many projects to prep.
