Baby Shower Invite

A couple weeks ago, some friends and I decided to give a baby shower and a farewell luncheon for a friend who was moving in a very short amount of time.  There wasn't time to actually mail out invitations so created this simple invite and attached it to an e-mail to all the shower guests.

This is one stamp set that I always wished I had gotten when it was available so I was SO happy when it became available as a digital image!  It was the perfect addition to this baby invitation for a stylin' momma!  I know I'll definitely be using this idea again :)

Wedding Announcement

As most of you know, my baby sister is getting married.  She asked me to help with her wedding invitations. I can now sure what I came up with since the guests should have all received their invites by now :)

We had them printed as 5x7 prints...and they turned out AWESOME!  I was even able to create her inserts for those guests who are invited to the actual wedding ceremony.

We had these printed as wallet size pictures.  I'm so happy with how these turned out.  Happy Wedding Day, Sis!

Framed Trees

I love the new Paper-Piercing pack!  It was my favorite new thing in the catalog....so I'm still not sure how I left it off my first order I placed.  You can bet that I ordered it as soon as I got my shipment and realized it was missing.  I created this card by cutting out a mat using the Apothecary Accents Framelits on a piece of CS.  I then used the CS as a mask to sponge ink on the card front and then stamp the tree images.  I used the mat pack to punch around the inside edge of the sponging.  Very quick and simple card!  Be sure to join me for Technique Night on TUESDAY, July 10, to see how else you can the amazing Paper-Piercing pack!  Order your supplies here.

Congratulations!

Digital Banner

Over the weekend, I helped host a baby shower for a friend.  It was a shower that was planned very quickly since our friend is moving.  I didn't have enough time to make a banner using the Big Shot so I decided to create one using My Digital Studio.  I just printed it out, trimmed the edges, punched holes, and tied it all together.  It came together very quickly.

It was a fun celebration, and the banner added a quick decoration to the party.  Order your supplies here.

Gift Cards Holder

I was in gift card holder mode last night as I prepare for my kids' last day of school.  I found this idea on our demo share website to use the scallop envelope inside a long card to create 3 pockets for gift cards.  It's exactly what I needed...a spot for 3 gift cards :)  I created two different ones since one child has a male teacher and the other child has a female teacher.  Here are my creations :)

Now the kids just have to sign the insides.  They are perfect :)  They would be great to use as birthday cards, as well!

Wedding cards are one thing that I seem to always need...and I'm just not quite sure what to do.  A few years ago, I received a swap at convention using two hearts, and I've LOVED that idea!

My kids are finally down to the last week of school!  Sydney's preschool class asked me to create a card for all of us to sign.  I searched around looking for something fun that I haven't already done...especially since we've been attending this particular teacher's class for eight years now :)  I found an idea to paper piece a pencil together...and from there I created this card with my supplies.

It turned out very fun!  It fits in a long envelope, and I added a folded sheet of paper to the inside so there would be enough room for everyone to write what they would like to :)  Order your supplies here.

Templates in MDS

Today I decided to use one of the templates that's available in MDS.  I created this page for our family picture. The original template said Memories...so I changed it to Family :)

 I quickly changed the colors and the pictures, and I've already got another completed page of J.R. prepping for Memorial Day with his Cub Scout Pack.

NEW Framelits

First of all, thanks to all of you who joined me for my Open House on Saturday.  I love sharing the products I love with my friends :)  The winners of the door prizes are Martha, Adriana, Colana, Rachael, Renece, and Dora Z.
