Birthday Cards

Tuesday I worked on lots of birthday cards.  My Grandma turns 90 next week.  She is SO good about sending birthday cards to everyone in the family...her kids, their spouses, her grandkids, their spouses, and the great-grandkids.  So...I thought it would be fun to restock her pile of birthday cards with 90 birthday cards.  The next several days I'll show you my creations for this project.  I tried to make two similar cards one masculine and one feminine.  I needed to make them all one layer cards because she mails most of her cards, and I didn't want her to worry about pieces falling off, etc.  Here are the first two cards that I'm sharing :)  I found this card sketch idea on Pinterest.

I see myself using this sketch quite a bit.  You could easily adjust for any season or occasion!  Order your supplies here.
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake
Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Always Artichoke, Cajun Crush (ink pads and markers)
Stamps:  Mixed Bunch & Bring on the Cake (top), Gently Falling & Best Dad Ever (bottom)

Friday, Sept. 20, 7 p.m. Banner Class.   We'll be creating a banner using a Build a Banner Simply Created Kit (colors may vary).  Just come with a word in mind that you want to make for your banner.  All supplies will be provided.  Fee:  $25—Stamp Club Members/Demonstrators; $30—Customers/Guests ($5 when you place a $40 the night of the class)  RSVP by September 12 to receive the full banner kit and take home unused pieces and supplies.
