Shadowed Background

One of my favorite ways to add sponging is to cut a shape using the Big Shot and then use the negative image for sponging.  Here are some samples of this:

To create the background, I used a framelit from the Apothecary Accents.  Lay the negative image on top of the card and sponge!  It makes for an easy and beautiful card.

Cardstock:  Whisper White
Ink:  Soft Suede & Always Artichoke (top) So Saffron, Old Olive, Real Red (bottom)
Stamps:  Magnificent Maple & Morning Meadow (top) Morning Meadow & Bring on the Cake (bottom)
Accessories:  Big Shot, Sponge, Apothecary Accents Framelit


Friday, Sept. 20, 7 p.m. Banner Class.   We'll be creating a banner using a Build a Banner Simply Created Kit (colors may vary).  Just come with a word in mind that you want to make for your banner.  All supplies will be provided.  Fee:  $25—Stamp Club Members/Demonstrators; $30—Customers/Guests ($5 when you place a $40 the night of the class)  RSVP by September 12 to receive the full banner kit and take home unused pieces and supplies.
