Birthday Flowers
This time a girl birthday card. The sketch again came from the catalog. This card came easily together once I remembered to stamp the inside of the flowers in a light color and the outline in a dark color :)

Birthday Greetings
Of course it's that time of the month when I need a bunch of birthday cards again :) This is the card that went out to my brother. I started with the Crumb Cake and used the Color Coach to find the Dynamic Duo as Chocolate Chip. Love these two colors together. This card came together quickly but I love it! I love this fun little cupcake stamp. I stamped the cupcake twice, cut out the frosting, and attached it with a dimensional to give the frosting dimension. Order your supplies here.

This DSP is TOO MUCH fun! Not only does it have flocking on a few sheets but those sheets also have a white core. I ran the DSP through the Big Shot in the Web Impressions folder and then used a sanding block to sand over the web. So much fun! Super simple Halloween card! Order your supplies here.

Birthday Banners
Sorry for the lack of posting...things have just been crazy busy. Honestly, I don't see things slowing down any time soon so it probably means I'll only be able to post a couple times a week. But that's what I love about being my own boss...I get to choose my own hours and what I do with it :)
These are the banners I made for the birthday party we attended last week. I love the pennent die! It makes these banners so simple to make. I'm hoping to have time in the next week or two to make a Halloween banner to use as a decoration during October. Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Basic Gray
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Crystal Effects, Pretties Kit (retired), Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Big Shot, Pennant Die, Alpha Die, Black Gingham (retired), Crop-a-dile

Invitation
At the first of the month, a friend contacted me and asked if I could help her with some invitations for a work event coming up. You're looking at the finished project. The invitation is a half of a page so the pocket is a full sheet of CS, scored in half, cut down to the score line, and then embossed. They turned out very nice and look so professional! Order your supplies here.

Ink: Night of Navy Craft

Dry Erase Board
At convention, my friend Megan gave this adorable dry erase board to me! I've LOVED using it. It's perfect to write all my notes down while I stamp or plan stamping projects. Don't forget to RSVP for September's stamp camp! You'll love the two houses were creating...one for Halloween and one for Christmas with matching cards :)

Old West Owl Sheriff
Last week for cub scouts I arranged for a sheriff to come and talk to the boys for their theme of "cub scout investigators." The boys had SO much fun! I couldn't think of a thank you card except to do some type of punch art. So I set out on a mission to find something that would work. I couldn't find a punch art police officer but I found this adorable owl here. Here's my version of the Old West Owl Sheriff...
I made a few changes from the one I found. I used the crimper to create the hinged doors rather than doing all that scoring. I used mainly Crumb Cake CS and sponged it with Chocolate Chip ink. This was so fun to make! Order your supplies here.
Cardstock: Whisper White, Playdate DSP, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Sponge, Crimper, Vintage Brads, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Punches: Decorative Label, Lg. Oval, Owl Punch

Getting a bit spooky :)
At technique night, we used the accent ink to decorate this Halloween card. The moonlight accent ink were used to create the bat's eyes and the silver was used to create the accents on each of the characters. Did you figure out where I got the punched out ghost??? It's the owl punch upside down!!! How fun is that!!!! :) Order your supplies here.

I made this little bat house using the same colors. And of course a bat hangs upside down when it's at home, so he's hanging out upside down. This would be fun to give a little treat in to someone for the spooky night :) Order your supplies here.

I think this is my favorite pink right now. I created the candy wrapper with the new die from the Holiday Mini. The picture turned out terribly but it gives you an idea of how adorable the die actually is. It's perfect for just a little treat. After cutting out the candy wrapper, I ran it through the Big Shot AGAIN in the polka dot impressions folder...love the effect!!
