It's a Boy!
One of my friends asked me to make a baby boy card for her. She wanted it as close to the "Baby Prints" card in the Occassions Mini Catalog (see p. 38). I first created a sample in MDS to see what it was like and then set to work. I didn't have the set from the Occasions Mini so I pulled out one of my favorite retired stamp sets "Cuddles & Tickles." I used Pool Party as my base since that's what the Occasions Mini card used.
I couldn't resist using the AWESOME Sale-a-Bration DSP since it coordinates with the Pool Party card stock. It turned out so cute. Only TWO more days to receive FREE Sale-a-Bration products! Place your order today! Order here.

Treasure Hunt Notes
For the birthday party, we had a treasure hunt. It was the perfect reason to use my Big Shot to cut out the clues. I can't get ENOUGH of these awesome Framelits. I really hope SU! comes out with more shapes :) I also made the center of the wreath using the Labels Collection. I made matching ones for the food table as well.

Party Favor Boxes
Today was birthday party day at our house. So....CRAZY, busy day for me :) (actually crazy, busy week for me) I wanted to do a sweets bar as part of the party favors since Sydney decided to go with a Treasure Hunt rather than a pinata. For Sierra's birthday, I bought little boxes for the sweets bar and then was disappointed that they didn't close very well. So this time, I knew better and made what I really wanted!
I used the Box #2 die, stamped it with the Baroque Motifs flourish image in VersaMark, and then embossed with the Melon Embossing Powder. It was perfect for her Barbie themed party! Who doesn't love choosing your own candy to take home? :) Order your supplies here.

While on Pinterest a few weeks back, I found an ADORABLE bunny card that I had to case.

Birthday Invite
Sydney has decided that she wants a Barbie themed birthday party for her first ever friend birthday party celebrating her fifth birthday. At first, I really tried to talk her out of it. The more I thought about it (and "researched" on pinterest, I knew I could probably pull it off. I was inspired by this invitation and set to work using My Digital Studio to create her Barbie invite.
It totally fits her....a little wild but plenty of girly. I had the perfect photo from our Christmas card photo shoot we did with the Nasfells. I just changed the color and cropped it as a punch to fit inside the frame I made using punches. Order your supplies here.

Recycled Banner
This year for the Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet we had a theme of resourcefulness. Each of the boys had to bring a project they had created using recycled materials. I figured it was only fitting that I decorate with materials that I had recycled as well. Being boys, I couldn't add too many flowers so I thought this banner made out of newspaper was the perfect touch.
I was sure to use the words for the background and colored pictures for the letters. I backed the pennants with scrap cardstock just to give it a little extra stability. Banners are so quick and easy using the Big Shot and the Perfect Pennants Die (#123126). Order your supplies here.

St. Patrick's Day Treat
I needed a quick St. Patrick's Day treat holder. I put this quickly together with two scallop circles with a mint patty in between. I used the small heart punch to create a lucky clover, added a center using the circle from the itty bitty shapes pack, and drew a stem with the white gel pen. Now I have a perfect treat for St. Patrick's Day. Order your supplies here.

Zoo
If you follow me on pinterest, you saw me pin this awesome sketch from a weekly MDS blog hop. I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to create a page using the sketch.
It inspired me so much that I've been playing around with My Digital Studio quite a bit lately. I had so much fun creating Syd's birthday invitation. I was so pleased with the results. I'll show you that next week. More and more of you have been asking about My Digital Studio. If I can figure out how to connect my computer to the TV, I'll show you a couple things at our next Technique Night. If you've purchase MDS from me already or you are a club member, you can attend this class for FREE. Mark April 5 on your calendar for some My Digital Studio fun! Order your supplies here.

Luck Photo Frame
I'm caught up on life again so I can once again commit more to my stamp blog. I'm hoping by setting a blog schedule, I'll be more consistent again at posting (but of course as always...life is busy so I can't promise this will happen every day but I'll do my best).
Monday-Big Shot Monday
Tuesday--My Digital Studio (New MDS downloads are available on most Tuesdays)
Wednesday--Holiday Wows
Thursday--Birthday Party
Friday--Friday Fun
So here is my first Big Shot Monday. When I took down my Valentine's decorations, I quickly realized I had very little to decorate with for St. Patrick's day. When I was cleaning, I discovered a frame I had put away last fall sometime and decided since I missed putting it up for Valentine's Day (it use to say love in the squares), that I would re-do the inside for St. Patrick's day.
It looks great in our entertainment center along with the other couple St. Patrick's Day decorations I have :) I used the Big Shot to cut out the scallop rectangles and of course the letters. I can EASILY change out the letters and colors for the next holiday thanks to the Big Shot. Order your supplies here.
